What is your Privacy Policy?

We appreciate your business and want you to know that your privacy is very important to us. Please be assured that your personal information will never be shared or sold. We will not use your personal information for any purpose other than to process your order. Furthermore, your email will never be shared with a third party or used for any reason other than to contact you about your order. If you request to have your email added to our newsletter list, it will only be used by The Cocoa Monkey for the purpose of contacting you for specials, sales and new product notifications etc. No monkey business!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. All of these options are made available to you during check-out. We use PayPal merchant services to process your payments. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account in order to complete your transaction. PayPal is highly reputable; if you have any questions regarding PayPal and its privacy policiy please visit the PayPal website.
Please note that sales tax will be added to all orders being shipped to addresses within the state of Florida.
Q: Shipping
What are your shipping charges and how long will it take to receive my order?

FREE SHIPPING OFFERS ARE LIMITED TO US DESTINATIONS ONLY.
Standard:
Shipping fees are based on weight, number of items and destination, and will be calculated during check-out. Most of our items at The Cocoa Monkey are hand made or customized to order so you get exactly what you want. We think its worth the wait to get a truly distinctive product or the perfect gift. Since custom orders require additional time and care; the make, ship and receive time frames will be clearly identified in each product description.
International:
We are more than happy to ship anywhere in the world! We understand the frustration in finding the perfect gift or wanting a fabulous product, but not having it available where you live. However, our website shipping prices are set up for US shipping only at this time. If you live outside of the US and wish to order, please proceed through checkout as normal. When we get your order we will determine what the shipping price will be for your country. We will then send you an invoice for any additional shipping charges that are above and beyond the US shipping charge that you have already paid. If you wish to cancel your order once you find out the total of the extra shipping charge, that is not a problem. If you prefer to get an international shipping quote before ordering please contact us directly via email or phone.
In a hurry....?:
Yes, many of our items are custom made to order and take time to produce. However, if you have fallen in love with something on our website or found the perfect gift and can't wait the normal shipping time please contact us via email or phone. Many of our artists, designers and companies are willing to help us out in a pinch. Additional shipping and handling charges may apply for expedited service.
Q: Returns
What is your return policy?
A:
We hope that you'll be thrilled with your purchases from The Cocoa Monkey, but in the event you are less than pleased contact us and give us the opportunity to make things right! In most instances, we'll be happy to issue a refund or exchange, minus the shipping costs, if the item is returned in original condition within 10 days from receipt. Please contact us for specific instructions before returning any item. Failure to contact us before returning items may result in additional charges. Please note the exceptions, we are unable to accept returns on custom orders, personalized orders and to ensure the safety of our customers we can not accept exchanges or returns on panties and nursing bras with the exception of a manufacturer's defect.

What is difference between between a Gift Registry and a Wish List?
A:
Wish Lists and Gift Registries are a great way to keep track of your favorite items at The Cocoa Monkey. Start by creating your own wish list or gift registry - click on the "My Wish List" or "My Gift Registry" link (on the left hand side of the page) and then click on sign in to your account. New customers will click on the "new customers" link to register by providing a name, email address and some information and then selecting a password. And now you are ready to go! As you browse the various categories, add items to your wish list or gift registry by clicking on the "add to wish list or add to gift registry" button located near the add to cart button. You can email your wish list to friends and family. This is a great way to keep track of gifts for birthdays and holidays. The Gift Registry section has one additional feature; it can be accessed publicly under Public Registries on the left hand side of the page. Making gift registries perfect for baby showers where other can see your gift registry publicly and purchase from the list.

Can I send you a product or idea for your website?
A:
If you have an item or idea you would like us to review, we would be happy to do so. Please send some time familiarizing yourself with our site and the type of products we offer. If you feel your idea or product would be a good fit, send us an email with information about yourself, a complete description of your product or idea and some clear photographs. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
